Constructed with an open-cell foam substrate, they provide excellent patient comfort and support. For enhanced durability and rigidity, an Ultrafoam option is available, featuring a closed-cell foam that is fluid-resistant and more robust.
For improved cleanability and longevity, the block can be coated with ScanCoat®, a sprayed coating that maintains full radiolucency while increasing durability. Latex-free and reusable, these blocks offer a cost-effective and sustainable solution for medical facilities.
Product Features:
- Multifunctional block which can support the skull, and the lateral knees, ankles, and legs.
- Open cell foam substrate ensures support while providing comfort for the patient.
- Available in Ultrafoam, an alternative closed-cell foam substrate that is more durable, rigid, and fluid-resistant.
- Items composed of Ultrafoam (UF) that have a height higher than 3 inches will have a glue seam that may attenuate in scans.
- Available with ScanCoat®, a sprayed coating that improves the cleanability and durability of the product, while ensuring complete radiolucency. Allowing you to get a clear scan with fewer rescans needed.
- Covered items (CF) are not recommended for low KVP techniques as the edges/seams may show.
