This approach makes it possible to match each need to its actual use. Buyers can narrow down their search based on the examination environment, the level of constraints in the MRI room, the type of product they are looking for, or the clinic’s preferred ordering method.
MRI
The MRI category should remain the primary entry point for products directly related to magnetic resonance imaging environments. It helps distinguish the specific needs of MRI suites from those of other product families used in general radiology, CT scanning, or mammography.
Radiology
Some MRI clinics may also have additional needs related to radiology or other imaging services. A “Radiology” category allows us to group together products that are not directly related to the MRI environment but are still useful within a broader medical setting.
Radiation safety
MRI is not subject to the same restrictions as examinations that use ionizing radiation. Radiation protection products should therefore remain in a separate category, which is particularly useful when a clinic also offers other imaging services.
CT Scan
When a clinic has multiple imaging environments, the CT scan area must remain separate. A dedicated entrance allows for the separation of CT scan needs from the equipment used in the MRI rooms.
Mammography
Products related to mammography should remain in a specialized category when the facility offers this type of exam. This separation helps keep navigation clearer among the different imaging categories.
