OPERATION
approach Ferralert solo detector. When close to the detector, 6 green ready to scan lights in the array will turn on.

Make a complete rotation. If any ferromagnetic hazard is detected, the green ready to scan lights will turn off. An audio alert will sound briefly and amber location detection lights will flash on the array at the location of the detected ferromagnetic hazard. Additionally, an indicator at the top of the array aids the screening supervisor to see the location of the ferromagnetic hazard.

If the green ready to scan lights stay lit, no ferromagnetic hazards were detected. After moving away, the detector will return to standby mode. The purple POWER indicator will be illuminated. The detector constantly monitors the ambient magnetic field and the blue bar graph at the top of the array displays the degree of magnetic disturbance.
